Key Responsibilities

  • Practical Support in ADLs: Assist safely in transfers, bathing, toileting, use of the bathroom and mobility, always protecting dignity.

  • Domestic Environment and Infection Control: Change bedding, wash light clothes and maintain a disinfected and risk-free space.

  • Medication and Symptom Monitoring: Provide reminders, observe changes, and document vital signs or red flags for the supervising nurse.

  • Therapeutic Participation: Reading aloud, remembering, guiding range-of-motion exercises, or accompanying short walks to improve mental and physical well-being.

  • Accurate Documentation: Record care notes, progress, and concerns in our digital registration system before the end of each shift.

 Requirements for success

  • Complete a state-approved Home Health Aide program (HHA certified).

  • Minimum 1 year of paid experience in home care or palliative care.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to customers' homes.

  • CPR certification (or availability to obtain it within 30 days).

  • Clear and confident communication, and a passion for relationship-focused care.

Work Summary- (CHHA required)
We are looking for a Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by improving their quality of life. Responsibilities include assistance with hygiene needs, light household chores and errands, medication administration, and other tasks that improve the client's environment and living standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing.
  • Help with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises.
  • Preparing meals and refrigerators
  • Perform light household cleaning tasks
  • Administer medications
  • Providing companionship
  • Assist with errands and purchases

Qualifications
  • CHHA required
  • Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide or a similar role is preferred
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Knowledge of basic household cleaning tasks and cooking skills
  • Ability to comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Compassionate, Respectful, Ethical

 
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
